Informative tool

In our last session, we have learnt about the informative tool. Technology is not only for chatting, playing games and all, it’s one of the Vitol teaching learning materials that we have been use every day. I came to know that we are using technology in various way. Firstly, we use technology as informative tool as we can search and download relevant information as source materials and reorganize for composition, assignment and projects. Secondly, we use as communicative tool since every day we are using phone and other gadgets for the purpose of communicating with friends and family for the meaningful purpose. Thirdly, we use technology as a constructive tool in various way to enhance productivity, education, communication and more. And situating tool as it helps individuals or organizations understand and navigate their surroundings.

Therefore I came to conclusion that technology plays crucial role in education, offering numerous benefits to students, teachers, and institutions. Here are some of the reason why technology is important in education, access to information, enhanced learning, global learning opportunities, accessibility, collaboration and communication, preparation for the digital age and innovative teaching method.

  Information and Communications Technology (ICT) is crucial for realising the national vision of transforming Bhutan into an IT enabled knowledge based society.  Ministry of Education trained 4,817 teachers and equipped 168 schools with computer laboratories. They can use microsoft word, power point and excel to create a small task teacher assigned them. They can even play or use code monkey which is a wonderful gift from his majesty to the students of Bhutan.
